Hi, Iām Cynthia Castillo, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist
I am a licensed psychotherapist in Texas with more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned both my Bachelor's Degree (2002) and Master's Degree (2004) from the University of Texas at Arlington. Following graduate school, I felt called to deepen my clinical training and pursued advanced licensure, becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2008.
Helping people navigate life's challenges has always been my passion. I genuinely enjoy the work I do and consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients during some of their most vulnerable and transformative moments.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and persistent patterns of self-doubt. Together, we explore the underlying causes of distress while developing healthier ways to cope, communicate, and connect with others. Many clients leave therapy feeling more grounded, confident, and at peace.
My ideal client is someone seeking a safe, supportive space to be heard and understood. I believe in making the most of our time together, whether that means focusing on specific goals and practical solutions or engaging in deeper healing and self-discovery. Your well-being, personal goals, and ability to function fully in your daily life remain at the center of our work.
I believe therapy is most effective when it is built on an authentic and collaborative relationship. My approach balances meaningful conversation with practical tools and strategies that support lasting growth. Through our work together, you can gain insight into unhelpful patterns, learn to manage difficult emotions, strengthen self-confidence, and create positive, lasting change.
My goal is to help you reconnect with your inner resilience, discover meaning in your experiences, and feel empowered to live a more fulfilling and balanced life.
